As a child, Avi Luvaton would eagerly wait for one of the most special, exciting and beautiful moments of prayer in the synagogue: the opening of the Holy Ark. That was the moment he could see which Sefer Torah would be taken out. 

In recollection of those memories, Avi has designed an exhaustive collection of exclusive and unique awe-inspiring Sefer Torahs to reminiscent in the joy and elation one feels with the opening of the Holy Ark and the choice of the Sefer Torah that will be honored to be read.

Torah Case: Protecting, Honoring and Unveiling what is most Sacred -  the Sefer Torah

Each Sefer Torah case designed by Avi Luvaton is a unique, artistic and quality shield that can illuminate any synagogue in the world.

Made of carbon fibers or a combination of materials such as rhodium or gold plated brass, these pieces not only fulfill their function of protecting the Torah scrolls, the essence of Judaism, they also honor them by containing designs and embellishments that anticipate the magnificence of what is inside. 

The Zohar states, “When the Torah is taken out to be read before the congregation, the heavenly gates of mercy are opened, and the Divine love is aroused”.

The Torah cases are made in the artist’s studio in Italy and Jerusalem using the most advanced technologies and can be custom ordered and designed upon request.

The voice of the Rabbi and the prayers of the people gathered together echo through the synagogue, like has been for centuries. Everyone is standing still anticipating what is about to take place. A member of the congregation has the honor of taking out what is inside with great respect and ceremony. And so he turns around holding and presenting it in view of all present, the most important element in the Jewish faith: the Sefer Torah.
