The limited addition Aluma Candelabra was designed by Avi Luvaton to be used for Shabbat and Holidays. It was inspired from the line, "Your wife will be as a fruitful vine in the innermost parts of your house; your sons will be like olive shoots around your table" found in Psalm 128:3.
The shape of the candelabra was designed to resemble a sheaf of wheat. Each of stem of wheat represents a member of the family and symbolizes that while they are all connected by the same family values at the root, each individual grows in his own direction. The stems are unified at the round base with wood embellishment which symbolizes family unity and gathering around the Shabbat table.
The Aluma Candelabra is made from rhodium plated brass so there is no need to worry about tarnish and polishing. The wood color can be made darker or lighter and the number of branches can range from five to eleven.
